Your giving, worked out for you

Any percent

Ten percent, twenty percent, or your own percent (whole or half).

You pick what counts

Switch on the income that counts. Switch on expenses too if you give from what is left after them; those come off first.

Still to give

See what you owe to charity, written to the cent, and what you already gave in the year shown.

From your real bank rows

Link your bank, or bring in a file (CSV). Income and gifts are counted as they come in.

For families, businesses and landlords

Any book

Giving can be switched on for a family, a business or a landlord's book, in Settings.

Before or after expenses

Whether your share is counted before or after expenses is your choice. Ask your rabbi, pastor or adviser which is right for you, then set it once.

Questions

Does it work for maaser?

Yes. Set ten percent, or twenty percent (chomesh, a fifth), and pick the income that counts.

Is my tithe counted before or after expenses?

You choose. Switch expenses on and they come off before the percent. Ask your rabbi, pastor or adviser which way is right for you.
